About us
LIFE CENTRE COMMUNITY SERVICES (LCCS) was founded by a group of passionate volunteers who Love God and Love, People. The vision of LCCS was born in 2008 by Rev Samuel Gift Stephen, the Senior Overseer of Smyrna Assembly, passionate about feeding the poor and caring for the Migrants here in Singapore and especially the Silver Generation. Rev Samuel together with a handful of volunteers from his Church, Smyrna Assembly, partnered with local charities to provide poor and needy individuals and families one meal a day. People from all walks of life, regardless of race, language or religion have benefited from this initiative.
LCCS also serves the Silver Generation by offering free health Checks and counselling as well as organizes activities for these seniors to ensure a healthy lifestyle. Third, we provide counselling to families and youth. We also work with local halfway houses to equip and empower inmates to overcome addictions and live better lives. We reach out to out-of-school youths who have joined gangs and help them to get out of gangs as well as re-enter schools.
